Oh tadhanang napaka fair, nakasali pa sa Job Fair

Akala ko hindi na talaga ako makakaabot sa last day ng job fair sa school today kasi nag overnight kami ng mga kasama ko kakagawa ng aming month-long project sa Python. Mga alas kwatro na ng madaling araw kami nakatulog kanina at ang sabi pa namin eh pagdating ng alas diyes, aalis na kami para maka avail ng mapagtatrabahuan. Ang nangyari, mag-aalas diyes na, hindi pa rin kami nakakabangon. Dumating pa yung ibang classmates ko. Mag sh-shoot daw sila sa bahay para sa isa pang project sa Multimedia class. Na shock ako. Hindi ko alam na may mag sh-shoot pala sa bahay ko today. Pero wa kebs lang. Sige. After lunch na lang ako pupunta sa school.

1:30 pm. Sakto lang ang pagdating ko sa school at kaka resume lang ng job fair from a lunch break. Madami-dami pa rin naman ang mga companies na andoon pero kung i co-compare kahapon, mas madami talaga kahapon. I was hesitant at first na pumunta sa mga representatives kasi nahihiya pa ako. Pero since naunang mag inquire yung kasama ko, eh nilakasan ko na rin ang loob kong pumunta sa table ng napupusuan kong companies para mag apply. Sa 90+ companies na sumali sa Job Fair na iyon eh 4 lang ang pinuntahan ko. Ang apa na iyon eh ang JG Summit Holdings, JP Morgans and Chace Co., Illumedia Outsourcing and ArtGrafix Co, yung huling dalawa ang talagang trip ko kasi in line siya sa aking graphic-ness. Charaught.

The first two companies were very much promising kasi they were big ass companies. When I say big, it's really really REALLY big. As in. Ang ganda ng training and benefits plus very nice representatives. The last two were of my type kasi they are in the multimedia side. Both asked me for a portfolio of my work, kaya lang wala akong dala that time so I redirected them to this blog kasi sabi ko I post SOME of my works here. Right then and there, I remembered - konti pa lang pala posts ko so I said konti lang ang mga works na na post ko dito. So the first company, Illumedia asked me to send them two of my best works through email. So I sent theme these:

 The first one's the logo I created for my division last year. The second one's my logo I created out of fun just a month ago. These may not be the best that I had made pero I guess they count for something.

The second company, ArtGrafix, asked me to bring my portfolio when they call me for an interview. Aaah. Na t-tense ako. Hindi ko alam kung ano na mangyayari sunod pero I hope it's something better.

Pero I do hope that I get a good and descent paying job soon. Or kahit mga 3 months after graduation pa. Sabi pa naman ni Papa na mag rest muna ako after graduation and mag work na ako 1-2 months after graduating pa. Pero I still do hope for the best.
